With over 11 years of experience in the financial services industry, Elie Merheb helps individuals, families, and business owners bring every part of their financial lives together under one clear, coordinated plan. His areas of expertise include investments, tax planning, financial and estate planning, personal banking, and mortgages and loans.
Elie holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, along with a Bachelor of Engineering and a Bachelor of Economics from the American University of Beirut. His engineering background gives him an analytical approach to complex financial decisions, which is evident in his work with business owners. Elie has guided clients through business sales, working directly with accountants on strategies like the Lifetime Capital Gains Exemption and the small business deduction, supporting negotiations, and building long-term investment plans to manage the proceeds. One of these clients was his own parents, whom he helped transition from business owners to a comfortable, worry-free retirement.
His approach is transparent, direct, and grounded in real life. Elie believes generic financial advice doesn’t know who you are, and that every client deserves a tailored plan that reflects their own timeline, goals, and family dynamics. He listens to the whole story before talking numbers, and gives clear, practical answers instead of jargon.
Outside of work, Elie spends time with his young family and focuses on being a good neighbour in his community.
