Terry Wiebe has over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in wealth management and comprehensive financial planning. Terry’s expertise extends to investment strategy, retirement and education planning, tax and estate planning, as well as over a decade of leadership in investment industry management. Terry’s long-standing commitment to helping clients build and preserve their wealth is reflected in the strong relationships he has maintained. Many of his clients have trusted him with their financial futures for over 25 years.
Terry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Simon Fraser University. He has also completed a wide range of professional certifications through the Canadian Securities Institute, including the Canadian Securities Course, Derivative Fundamentals Course, Options Licensing, and the Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers Course. Terry earned the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation in 2004, and became a Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) in 2005.
Taking a disciplined, client-first approach, Terry believes that successful investing is grounded in planning, diversification, and thoughtful risk management. His overall investment philosophy emphasizes the importance of balancing return and risk, minimizing taxes through proactive strategies, and staying objective amidst emotional reactions to the market in the media.
Outside of work, Terry is an avid fan of sports, including golf, hockey, soccer, and curling. He also enjoys travelling and reading the latest thriller. His' current project is improving his skills in the kitchen, serving as his wife’s sous-chef.
